Binp Capacitive and Ultrasonic Hydrostatic Level Sensors
Slow ground motion study for future accelerator projects and alignment of large accelerator machine components with high accuracy are important tasks now. One of the prevalent tool for solution of these tasks are Hydrostatic Level Sensors designed to work into the Hydrostatic Levelling System, which is based on principle of communicating vessels. All water level measuring sensors are linked to ...
متن کامل3D Gesture Acquisition Using Ultrasonic Sensors
Research and musical creation with gestural-oriented interfaces have recently seen a renewal of interest and activity at Ircam. In the course of several musical projects, issued either by from young composers enrolled in the Cursus of Composition and Computer Music or by guests artists, the Pedagogy and Creation departments of Ircam have proposed various solutions for gesture-controlled sound s...
متن کاملCapacitive soft strain sensors via multicore-shell fiber printing.
A new method for fabricating textile integrable capacitive soft strain sensors is reported, based on multicore-shell fiber printing. The fiber sensors consist of four concentric, alternating layers of conductor and dielectric, respectively. These wearable sensors provide accurate and hysteresis-free strain measurements under both static and dynamic conditions.
متن کاملApplications using Earphone with Biosignal Sensors
We propose novel ways of interactions using biosignals. We developed a prototype earphone with three kinds of biosignal sensors: pulse wave, electromyogram (EMG) and acceleration sensors. Using this sensor system, we implemented three new applications automatic music selection, tactile and visual communication and automatic metadata annotation. We also present results of preliminary subjective ...
متن کاملSpoofing Capacitive Fingerprint Sensors
This white paper discusses methods and findings from one of Novetta’s many approaches to vulnerability assessment: the fabrication of non-gelatinous artifacts for capacitive fingerprint sensors. We present methods of evaluating artifact performance relative to that of live presentations and gummy fingerprint artifacts. Two sets of artifacts are comprised of latex face paint or acrylic fabric pa...
